Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament

What an absolute honor it was to present this cheque to the athletes of the Special Olympics Grande Prairie!

This donation would not have been possible without the support of all our Sponsors, Golfers & Volunteers - once again Thank You All!

We still have more cheques to give out, keep an eye open for the other ways the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament will be helping our community this year! 💚

A HUGE shout out and thank you to the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament , which selected Special Olympics Grande Prairie as the recipient of their 2026 golf tournament this past summer.

Thank you to S/Sgt Brent Lawson, RCMP (President of the Archie Harvey Memorial Planning Committee), Brandi Hardy, GP Police Service (Treasurer of the Archie Harvey Memorial Planning Committee), along with the whole planning committee which consists of a group of individuals from the RCMP, GPPS and Western Alberta Victim Services.

Thank you to Ovintiv and RB Oilfield Hauling, who were the two signature sponsors for the event this year.

And thank you to local athletes; Brendan Mercer, Steven Bienderra and Doug Edey who accepted the donation cheque on behalf of Special Olympics Grande Prairie

We (Jessica, Chelsea, and Dani) had a fantastic day at the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament on July 24 in Grande Prairie.

Staff from our Grande Prairie team enjoyed connecting with fellow community members & supporting a great event. Thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable experience.

💚 Help Us Choose Our 2027 Main Recipient! 💚

Each year, the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament is proud to support organizations that make a lasting difference in our community.

As we begin planning for our 2027 tournament, we're asking for your help.

We're looking for a Grande Prairie organization that supports children or vulnerable persons and could benefit from the funds raised through our tournament.

Do you know a deserving charity or non-profit? We'd love to hear about them!

📧 Please email your nomination, along with a brief description of the organization and the impact they make,
to: [email protected]

Together, we can continue supporting those who need it most in Cpl. Harvey's honor.

Thank you for helping us make a difference. 💚

💚 What an incredible year! 💚

Because of the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and everyone who supported the Archie Harvey Memorial Golf Tournament, we are thrilled to announce that we raised over $63,000 before expenses for this year's recipient organizations!

Every sponsorship, every raffle ticket, and every act of kindness helped make this possible.

Together, we've created an impact that will be felt throughout our community.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us give back to our community in Cpl. Harvey's honor.

We can't wait to share more about the difference these funds will make and look forward to seeing you all again in 2027!

Together, we make a difference. 🫶
