Mama Lola is now ready to find her forever family too!

You may have seen Lola when we posted her adorable 🥰 babies, now it's her time to shine! ✨

Lola is between 1.5 to 2 years old
We're not sure what her breed mix is, but best guess is an Australian Shepherd Mix, maybe some Spaniel or Collie in there too.

📍 Located in Beaumont
Approximate Size or best guess on what size they'll grow to be: 20lbs

Are they good with kids?✅ Yes
Are they good with Dogs?✅ Yes, but has shown barrier reactivity
Are they good with Cats? ✅Yes

Lola is very social and friendly.
She loves meeting new people.
She walks very well on the leash and loves to cuddle up on the sofa. She’s very affectionate and loves her humans. 🚶🏼‍♂️🚶🏼‍♂️

Lola typically does well in the crate, but can sometimes whine if she is in an anxious state of mind. She is not destructive and does not bark when crated.

Lola will need someone to continue her training for impulse control. She can jump and sn**ch food out of hands, but has made great progress. She is still learning to take treats gently so the adopter should be willing to continue teaching her good manners, and not reinforce bad habits.

Lola may initially have a few accidents when initially in a new home, but after a few days when she has settled she knows that outside is the best place to p*e and p**p! 🚽

Sarge - A sweet old man needing a soft space to land to live out his days in the comfort he deserves. 💙

*Sarge will be at our Tamarack Pet Valu Event (and Bottle Drive) from 12-3 on Saturday, May 23*

The Details for the Good Boy:

💙14.5 years old
Sh*tzu Cross (best guess)
📍St. Albert
Size: Small - about 15 lbs

Good with dogs❓ Sarge doesn’t play anymore but is totally OK with them being around - currently lives with 3 large dogs!

✅Likely fine with cats but unknown.

Kids❓ Likely good, but he would do best in a quiet home.

Sarge is mostly blind and mostly deaf, requires softened food as he has no teeth 🪥

Sarge is an extremely sweet old man looking for his final retirement home. 👴🏼

⚠️Since he is mostly blind and deaf, he requires a home that he can navigate safely (e.g., stairs blocked).

🏡He needs a home with a fenced yard he can safely explore with his sniffer because this is truly one of his favourite things to do and he deserves to continue this for the rest of his life. ❤️

He loves being petted, especially scratches and rubs under his chin, face, and ears.

He is house trained. 🚽

Sarge is very low maintenance - he mostly sleeps and only barks when he wants 3 things - food/water, cuddles, or to go outside.

Sarge loves to have a little massage to help him fall asleep at night and will easily sleep for 10 hours or more.

Foster family’s favorite things about Sarge are seeing his tail wag like crazy when he bumps into you or smells you, and watching him experience pure joy in the simplicity of sniffing around outside. ❤️

Like many seniors, this dog(s) may experience age-related health changes in the future and will need an adopter ready to support them through their golden years. ✨

🌸 Meet Emma 🌼

Emma is a tiny, itty-bitty little girl believed to be a Shih Tzu mix 💛 She weighs just 8.5 pounds and her approximate age is estimated to be between 3–5 years old. Emma is currently located south of Edmonton and is looking for her forever home 🏡✨

Emma is still very shy and timid, but every single day she is making gradual progress 🌷 She trusts the animals in her foster home completely, though humans are still something she’s learning to feel safe around. Right now, picking her up or reaching for her is a no-go... everything with Emma must happen on her terms, and her future family will need to understand and respect that as she continues to come out of her shell 🌼

Despite her timid nature, Emma is incredibly gentle and sweet 💕 In the evenings, when everyone settles down to watch a TV program, she’ll quietly come and snuggle beside her partner in crime, Penelope 🐾💕 Wherever Penelope goes, Emma follows. Penelope has become her comfort, her confidence, and her guide, and Emma is learning so much from her 🌸

Because of this, Emma would do best in a home with a calm, confident small or medium-sized dog who can continue to show her the ropes and help her build trust and confidence 🌻 She gets along wonderfully with all the little dogs in her foster home. She has not been tested with cats, but based on her soft demeanor, we don’t anticipate a problem 🐱💛

Emma is still working on house training and is not kennel trained. We suspect she may have come from a breeding situation, so kennels may bring up fear or uncertainty for her 🌷 She much prefers curling up beside another dog on a cozy bed, the couch, or wherever her trusted companion chooses to sleep 🛋️💕

She’s a little picky with food, though we suspect we just haven’t found her favorite yet 🍯✨ Emma can also be adorably vocal at times... especially when breakfast is involved 🌞 or when “stranger danger” alerts need to be announced 💛 Otherwise, she is quiet, soft, and incredibly gentle in spirit 🌸

We are committed to taking our time finding the perfect fit for this special girl 🌼 Emma’s journey will require patience, understanding, and kindness. But for the person willing to let her bloom at her own pace 🌷 the reward will be immeasurable. Dogs like Emma form the deepest bonds 💕 Once she chooses you, she’ll become your loyal little shadow, your best friend, and a heart dog in every sense of the word ✨🐾

Coco is a delightful gal!
She is fully housetrained 😃
She uses a p*e pad like a champ but will also go outside and barely ever has an accident, even in a new and strange home.

She has no medical issues and even has gorgeous teeth!

She loves ❤️ chew sticks.

She is crate trained.
Goes in with no complaints or noise when her fosters are out.
Sleeps 💤 in her crate with no complaints, but would also like to sleep in bed with you just fine too.

✅Good with Dogs? Yes - loves her senior foster brother and would love another small dog in her forever home. She is Untested with larger dogs but likely will be okay as long as she's allowed to be BOSS BABE!

❓Good with Kids? Untested - may be nervous at first and she's so tiny she's need to be with children that know to treat her with care to avoid injury.

✅Good with Cats? Yes, she is fostered with a 1 year old cat she competes with for toys!

Coco is quiet! She only barks when someone comes to the door or when she's playing.
