Sir Chilton at your service! I’m so handsome, I know, I can’t help it. I’m also a very good and friendly boy too!

Not much is known about me, I was brought to the wonderful people at Enoch Animal Control with another kitty found nearby. I’m about 2 years old according to the vet, and after getting the full VIP treatment at the vet clinic, I’m officially ready for my next and best chapter.

The humans aren’t sure about my past experience with other animals, but I didn’t mind the kitty I came in with, so I’m pretty sure with slow, patient introductions I could share my home with a friendly cat, or cat social dog. I’d be good with gentle kiddos too!

Does everyone remember our sweet little Bitsy, the 6-legged kitty who stole hearts all across Canada?

Well, our special girl is making headlines again, but this time she’s in a book!!

Bitsy is one of the amazing cats featured in The Cat Did It: Tails of Marvellous Canadian Cats by Nancy Silcox.

It’s a collection of stories about some pretty incredible Canadian cats, and we’re so happy that Bitsy’s story is one of them! From our frightened little 6-legged girl who needed a triple amputation surgery, to now having her very own place in a book. How special is that!

And even better, Furget Me Not will be receiving a portion of the proceeds from book sales, which will go right back into helping more kitties in need.

Handsome 10-year-old Sylvester is dressed to impress in his tuxedo, and ready to find his forever home!

Sylvester is an incredibly sweet, social and affectionate boy who absolutely loves being around people. He’s a pretty chill, low-energy guy, but loves following you around, checking out what you’re doing and being part of the action. He’s just as happy spending the afternoon watching birds out the window or curled up beside you keeping you company.

While he’d love to be king of his own castle, Sylvester has lived with other cats previously and would be happiest in a home with older kiddos or adults only.

He’s in great health for his age, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped, and would make an absolutely wonderful companion!

If you’ve ever had a ginger kitten, you know the only thing better is 2 GINGER KITTENS! And these besties are the purrfect pair. They’re extremely playful, silly and full of beans, but also extremely gentle and affectionate.

**Placement found**

We have a 2 year old female kitty urgently looking for a barn placement. She must be locked into her new space for a minimum of 3-4 weeks, and have access to a heated shelter, food and water daily. We’re able to transport within reasonable driving distance of Edmonton.

She doesn’t mind people, but it’s becoming clear that she needs more space and freedom to feel comfortable. We’re hopeful that a quiet, safe barn setting will give her the opportunity to relax and thrive.

A little update on Mama Evie! ❤️

You might remember this sweet girl who came to us after being rescued by Animal Protection Officers. She had recently finished nursing kittens and was suffering from a massive & very painful rodent ulcer, along with a permanently crumpled little ear from severe recurring ear mites.

Evie had a checkup with the wonderful Dr. Boctor at Windermere Veterinary Hospital today, and we’re happy to report she’s doing great! She’s gained weight, is feeling much better, and no longer needs pain medication! She’s eating & playing with toys like a normal cat,

Unfortunately, her rodent ulcer had progressed quite significantly before she came into care, so healing is taking a little longer. She’ll continue her steroid treatment for another month, but we’re very happy with her progress so far.

Thanks to everyone who supports our fundraisers and sends food through our Amazon wishlist, we’re able to put adoption fees directly back into veterinary care for cats like Evie. Every bag of food and every fundraiser order helps us stretch our resources a little further, and we’re so grateful for that.

Stay tuned for more updates on this deserving little mama as she enjoys the single lady life. We’re hoping she’ll be ready to find her forever home very soon! 🥰

**Adopted** Meet Alfie, the very last kitty from the St. Albert hoarding house still waiting for his happily ever after.

We’re especially thankful that Alfie and his friends are no longer living in the horrendous conditions they came from. But there’s still one thing missing from Alfie’s story - a forever home of his own!

Alfie is approximately 7–9 years old, and after everything he’s been through, we think it’s about time life gave him something good.

Understandably, Alfie can be shy with new people. After coming from such terrible living circumstances can you blame him? But give this sweet gentleman a little time and patience, and you’ll discover just how affectionate and loving he really is.

Alfie’s dream home would be somewhere quiet, without children or dogs, but he would LOVE a feline friend! He adores other cats and has been trying his very best to convince his foster brothers to be his besties. Unfortunately, they’re not nearly as enthusiastic about the idea as he is, so a home with a cat buddy would be important for this due.

Alfie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and in good health. And the very best part? His adoption fee has been fully sponsored!

This sweet boy has already spent far too much of his life in circumstances no animal should ever have to endure. This Thanksgiving, we’d be extra grateful to see the last of our St. Albert kitties finally find the safe, loving forever home he deserves. 🧡

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at Furget Me Not!

It’s been a tough 2026 so far with the inclement weather, tough economy, and affordable housing crisis working against us. But we still have so much to be thankful for.

To our wonderful supporters and our amazing Pet Valu partners who do so much for us throughout the year, thank you for always being there for our kitties.

These sweet girls have a lot to be thankful for too! Thanks to your support, they’re safe, warm, and won’t have to spend a cold Alberta winter outside on an acreage. They’ll be ready to find their forever homes very soon!

Honey will be available for pick-up starting this evening! If you placed an order for honey only, you should have received an email with pick-up details.

Unfortunately, our soup and baked goods have been delayed and won’t be ready until next week. If you placed an order for both and would like to pick up your honey this weekend, please send us a DM!

Otherwise, we’ll be in touch as soon as everything is ready with pick-up details for soup and soup + honey orders.
