This Sunday is Lemonade Stand Day in Edmonton in support of the Stollery. Check out the website for the map to all the lemonade stands throughout the city.

Host a lemony event in your community on Sunday, August 30, 2026. We provide you with a kit which includes items to get your stand started - all you need is a little love, some smiles and a lot of fun!

Our neighbors to the north are in need of some casino help if anyone has time to spare.

Casino Volunteers URGENTLY Needed!
La Perle is looking for Casino Volunteers for September 8th & 9th at the Starlight Casino in West Edmonton Mall.

La Perle Community League hosts a Casino every other year. The funds raised on September 8th & 9th cover facilities and website maintenance, and running programs & activities for our community. We need a fully staffed Casino to keep the League afloat for the next two years.

We're looking for almost all positions.
Tuesday Day: Banker, Spare
Tuesday Night: General Manager, Cashier, Chip Runner, Spare, Count Room (3)
Wednesday Day: Cashier, Chip Runner, Spare
Wednesday Night: General Manager, Chip Runner, Count Room (3)

Here is the link for the map of Belmead’s community garage sale this coming weekend! Addresses are on the second page after you click the link. There may still be more sellers that didn’t register so it could change. I do have them printed now so any new addresses will only stay on the digital copy. I will also add a link to the map onto the original flyer so that people that have the QR code can find them. Happy selling and shopping everyone! And thank you for all of your interest. 😊

We are now planning our September Belmead Blast event for community league days which is on September 19th.

Vendor event will be in the hall from 2 pm - 7 pm and are looking for a nice variety of vendors to fill the market portion of this event.

Table fee is $45 for a 6 foot table and chairs plus a small product donation to help build baskets for the local charity Alberta Homeward Hound & Housecat Rescue.
