Karilagan Dance Society We are Filipino-Canadians based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, aiming to promote the Filipino culture Welcome to Karilagan Dance Society!

The term 'Karilagan' is a Filipino word meaning splendor or beauty. We are composed of Filipino-Canadians who aim to live and share the Filipino culture to fellow Fil-Canadians and non-Filipinos alike by showcasing folk dances and songs. We arrange and provide musical and dramatic entertainment, while providing recreation for members at the same time. Our activities also afford our members the opp

ortunity to socialize and promote friendship, cooperation and camaraderie. Karilagan Dance Society facilitates the travel of its members to different parts of Canada and overseas, whenever and wherever they are requested to perform.
