**NEW GCL INITIATIVE**

We know you’re out there. We see you walking your dog, tending your yard, dropping kids off at school. And we hear you when you tell us you’d love to know your neighbours a little better.

That’s exactly what Common Ground is about.

Common Ground is a new Glastonbury Community League initiative designed to help residents across The Grange, Granville, and Parkland connect with neighbours who share their interests and their stage of life. The idea is simple: you tell us what you’re interested in, and we help make the connections happen.

We’re thinking walking and running groups, gardening and plant swaps, astronomy nights, parenting meetups, board games, open air coffee and more. But we don’t want to assume. We want to hear from you.

That’s why we’re asking residents to take a short survey. It takes less than five minutes, and your answers will directly shape the groups and gatherings we create this summer and beyond.

Take the Common Ground survey here: https://forms.gle/DS455cT8NEXkKr2M7

The survey will be open from June 1 to June 14. We’ll share what we heard and what comes next through our newsletter and social media shortly after.

Our three neighbourhoods are home to more than 16,000 residents. Common Ground is our way of helping a few more of you find each other.

We hope to see you out there!

Mark your calendars, friends, because GCL's Yoga in the Park is a summer highlight! As usual, we will be guided by the stellar staff @ Prana Yoga Studio for Adult and Kids' classes! We will also be joined by community members from Secord Community League and Cameron Heights Community League. Welcome one and all! ☺

A note about the location this year: if you've attended in years past, you'll notice that we are setting up on the opposite side of the playground, to accommodate for the construction of our new ice rink.
