Cando invites local Indigenous artists to design a logo for the upcoming 32nd Annual National Conference & AGM
to be held in Victoria, BC on October 5-8, 2026.
This year’s conference theme is:
“Flowing with Abundance: Indigenous Prosperity Through Knowledge, Partnership & Renewal”
Cando will pay up to $500 for a winning design!
Deadline for logo submissions: June 30, 2026

Description: Charly Gilpin is a Two-Spirit Cree person from Wemindji in Eeyou Istchee, located along the eastern shores of James Bay. She is the Youth Chief in Wemindji, elected by the Youth members to lead the Youth Council for a term of 3 years. Charly shares her journey as a young advocate, and how she answered her call into leadership, governance and community service.
