Big ideas, bold goals, and of course, lots of coffee (some of us might need a little extra) on the agenda! Our two boards are meeting together today and tomorrow to map out what's next for LAMP. Please pray for wisdom and clarity as we nurture the vision for His ministry in northern Canada. Your support means the world to us! "I loved seeing how the older former VBS kids still come back to visit and hang out with the team. I loved working with the current VBS students and getting to know them, to see them open up and become more engaged as the week went on. One amazing and wonderful highlight was when a former VBS student brought in her Bible she received 20 years ago from the LAMP team!!! It was signed by all the team members, and she asked us to add our signatures. She has obviously treasured the Bible all these years. It was inspiring to see what a difference this program makes!" - Kristin, a new volunteer serving in Gitanyow, B.C. What a testament to the ministry's lasting impact. Praise God 🙌

Here is a perfect example that you don't need to be an expert influencer, just a willing messenger! Michael, a volunteer with the Norway House team, shared a beautiful experience of how God moved through him during their visit to the community last summer: He said, "God taught me the power that the Holy Spirit has to guide conversations, as I was often unsure of exactly what to say, but the Holy Spirit led me in the right direction." Norway House, one of the original Hudson's Bay Trading Posts, is one of the largest Indigenous communities in northern Manitoba. Because it is a drive-in community, this LAMP team tows a trailer filled with their VBS supplies all the way from Minnesota.

"I appreciate the growing connection we have with some adult members of the local community. And to see some returning VBS students, as well as new students--especially the young ones who would not have been old enough to attend in previous years. There are a lot of sweet children there!" says Karen, who serves in Deschambault Lake, SK. Craft time at VBS is always so much fun!

Hi friends, we're so grateful to have you as part of our ministry family! We often don't realize the impact of sharing the gospel until we hear from volunteer missionaries like Kari, who serves in the communities of KI (Big Trout Lake) and Wapekeka. She shared something heartwarming with us: "We've been going for many years, and the bond gets stronger every year. Cecilia, our contact on the council and friend, hugged me on the last day and said, "Please, come back again!"

It's not just about sharing the gospel; it's about being present--showing up with compassion when it matters most. Whatever God places on your heart, it's His invitation to partner with Him and His ministry to help bring a little more of heaven to earth.
