Summer is on its way! β˜€οΈ

It might not feel like summer weather just yet, but that didn't stop our Support Office team from getting into the spirit today! Bucket hats, leis, shorts, and plenty of summer vibes helped brighten the day.

Here's hoping the sunshine catches up soon! Wishing everyone a fantastic weekend! 😎🌺

πŸš€ Big steps forward for Haroon this week!

Haroon has been actively building his job search skills and taking meaningful steps toward employment. After preparing his resume, he confidently dropped it off in person at a local employment office and has been exploring businesses and community employers that are currently hiring.

Along with applying online, Haroon is expanding his search by connecting with organizations offering short-term opportunities such as flyer distribution, deliveries, and other entry-level work experience opportunities. He is also continuing to build his workplace readiness through online training courses, including WHMIS certification.

Employment success is about more than finding a job. It is about building confidence, developing skills, making community connections, and creating opportunities for independence. Through Community Connect's Employment Program, individuals are supported to explore their strengths, gain real-world experience, and take meaningful steps toward their employment goals.

Congratulations, Haroon, on your hard work and determination. We are excited to see where your journey leads next! πŸŽ‰
