We were excited to welcome 80 registered participants for a memorable ASL Immersion experience filled with language learning, community, and cultural connection.

🤟 Deaf Alberta Expo 2026: Hands Raised, Voices Elevated! 💙

The Deaf Alberta Expo brought together Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard-of-hearing individuals, families, organizations, service providers, and allies to connect, share resources, and celebrate Deaf culture and accessibility.

📍 Location: University of Calgary Downtown Campus Atrium, Calgary, Alberta
📅 Dates: October 2–3, 2026
🎟️ Free admission to daytime booths and workshops.

The two-day event featured inspiring guest speakers, workshops, community resources, and opportunities to build connections. Evening activities included Deaf Night Out and a banquet, bringing people together to celebrate the Deaf community.

Thank you to the Alberta Association of the Deaf and community partners for helping bring everyone together! 🤟💙
