We were excited to welcome Douglas Wetmore as a guest speaker for our S2S workshop last week!

Through an interactive business simulation, youth worked in teams to experience real-world business challenges, practice decision-making, and explore their entrepreneurial skills.

A big thank you to Douglas for sharing his expertise and helping make learning about business engaging!

The Impact of YEP!

It’s always great to hear about the positive impact YEP has had on our participants and their journeys!

Here’s what one participant had to say about their experience and the lasting support they received:

“I would like to take the opportunity to simply thank you once again for the role you played in my beginnings as a young professional and for all the support I have and continue to receive from SEED over the years.”

We’re proud to be part of our participants’ journeys, every step of the way!

YEP’s Impact - Removing Employment Barriers

YEP helps youth overcome barriers to employment by:

- Providing support with ID replacement and attainment
- Work essentials (such as interview clothing)
- Job-specific certifications
- Finding and applying for jobs.

By helping remove these barriers, YEP supports youth in taking steps toward employment.

Progress Isn’t Linear

Every person’s journey looks different. There are wins, challenges, new directions, and moments that don’t go exactly as planned.

At SEED, we’re proud to support youth through all of it. We help youth build skills, confidence, connections, and the tools they need to take their next steps.

The path may not always be straight, but every step forward is part of the journey.
