Our new look is inspired by something deeply rooted right here in Nova Scotia, folk art.
Folk art tells stories.
It reflects everyday life, community, and the beauty found in simple, meaningful moments. And that felt like us.
Artists like Maud Lewis showed the world that creativity doesn’t come from perfection, it comes from perspective. Living with physical challenges, Maud created vibrant, joyful scenes that celebrated life as she experienced it. Her work reminds us that every person has something valuable to share.
That same belief is at the heart of Mosaic.
Our new icons; bright, expressive, and full of life, are inspired by that spirit. Each one reflects what matters most in our community:

Why did we change our name?
Because we’ve grown. We’ve been doing this for over 50 years and our name didn’t reflect who we are and what we do!
We needed a name that better reflects:
• Who we are
• The work we do
• The communities we build
