✨Meet Kayla McInnis, Logistics Run Director, CIBC Run for the Cure Collingwood - Blue Mountains.
🏃🏻♀️➡️This year marks Kayla's 7th year volunteering with the CIBC Run for the Cure and her
🎗️16th year with the Canadian Cancer Society!
🩷 The Canadian Cancer Society has always held a special place in Kayla's heart.
Through her involvement with the Run for the Cure, she hopes to show those living with cancer that they are not alone. As cancer has touched the lives of so many people, Kayla is passionate about creating opportunities for communities to come together in support, hope, and solidarity.
Kayla continues to dedicate her time to fundraising events like the Run for the Cure because she believes in the important work that they make possible.
Funds raised help support many vital programs and services such as;
🚕 Wheels of Hope
☎️ Cancer Information Helpline
🏕️ Camp Goodtimes
As well, resources that provide comfort and assistance to Canadians affected by cancer.
🏅 In recognition of Kayla's longstanding commitment and impact, she was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal in 2025 for her contributions and dedicated service through the Canadian Cancer Society.
🙌🏻 This honour reflects the passion, leadership, and countless hours she has devoted to supporting those affected by cancer.
❣️ One of Kayla's greatest hopes is to help create an event where participants feel welcomed, supported, comforted, and empowered. She wants every participant to know that their involvement makes a difference and helps ensure these critical programs can continue to support those who need them most.
