After three amazing years helping us grow and support snowboarding here in Ontario, we’re sad to share that our very own Sian will be moving on from Ontario Snowboard this fall. While it is bittersweet for us, we’re incredibly proud to see Sian taking on a new role within the industry (stay tuned!), where she will continue to share her passion for snow sports in a different capacity.

Sian has played a key role in the successful delivery of Events, Coach Programming, High Performance Program and was instrumental in the successful opening and ongoing operations at the recently opened LAUNCH facility at Horseshoe Valley.

Her warm and supportive personality will be missed at competitions across the province this winter, but we couldn’t be more excited to cheer her on in her next adventure.

From the entire team and community, we wish Sian all the best and thank her for all she’s contributed throughout her time at Ontario Snowboard. 🫶

We couldn’t close out our season without giving the greatest shoutout to the incredible team from who put so much time, passion, and precision into designing and building the incredible courses you all experienced at this year’s NorAms and Jr Nationals.

This crew is legendary, and we’re beyond grateful for their dedication to the craft, especially when Mother Nature didn’t want to fully cooperate!

We would like to encourage anyone to apply to become a member of the Board but we are specifically looking for board members with experience in sponsorship, marketing and communications, knowledge of the Canadian sport system and persons involved within the snowboard industry.
