Collingwood Council Update re: BYO Alcohol

Following a comprehensive review and decision of Council, the Town of Collingwood will not be permitting "Bring-Your-Own" alcohol events. New provincial regulations take effect April 30, and the Town is maintaining its current standards to ensure that events remain safe, manageable, and supportive of the local business community.

What this means for you:
✅ Events can still serve alcohol with proper permits
❌ Personal alcohol is not permitted in public spaces or at Town events.

We will continue to monitor the impact of these provincial changes across Ontario.
