Rebound Child & Youth Services is a not-for-profit organization that encourages mental wellness & positive growth, counselling & skills building to ensure that children & youth are supported to reach their fullest potential. Rebound Child & Youth Services (Rebound) is a not-for-profit, incorporated, charitable organization, providing high-quality, community-based programs and services to children,

youth, and families in Northumberland County since 1997. We work with our many community partners and over 90 dedicated volunteers to ensure the ongoing provision of supportive and proactive programming to empower children, youth, and their families to work towards positive change. Our services offer a private and confidential process which can assist children, youth, and their families with options and resources for programming. Rebound believes that the most effective services are those that are provided in a responsive and respectful manner and in a partnership with families. As part of that commitment, Rebound invites families, caregivers and youth to work with us to identify and shape how we meet the needs of children, youth and their families. Services and referrals are coordinated by connecting children, youth and families with supportive community services.

PROGRAM SPOTLIGHT: The Youth Wellness Hub Ontario (Northumberland)

Rebound is proud to be the lead agency for the YWHO Northumberland, which is dedicated to connecting young people from across Northumberland County to the right services, at the right time, in the right place. When youth walk through our doors, we want to meet them where they are and prioritize the creation of healthy, safe and meaningful relationships amongst peers, staff and families.

We offer a combination of clinical and social supports which changes the dynamic of care and ensures that if and when young people are ready to connect, we’re here to support them regardless of what that looks like.

Visit us in Port Hope at 15 Cavan Street!

Despite ongoing community efforts, youth homelessness continues to be on the rise in Canada. The issues homeless youth face daily are complex and require holistic approaches and wrap-around community support.

When you make a gift at the Cobourg Home Depot May 12 to June 14, 100% of the money stays local, going directly to Rebound's homelessness prevention and wrap-around support programs.

Please give today! 🧡🧡

This May 4-10, is inviting people across Canada to Come Together. It’s a call to spark small, everyday actions of connection, and to recognize the role we all play in supporting mental health through connection.

Together, we can strengthen mental health, build healthier communities, and help more people feel connected.
