We recently gathered for our 2025 AGM and had the opportunity to celebrate another incredible year at the Club. We are so proud of the amazing youth who continue to show leadership, creativity, kindness, and dedication every day. 💚

🎉 To help celebrate BGC Charlottetown's 40th Anniversary, we've created a special 40th Anniversary Colouring Book!

This week, we completed our first print run and provided a copy to each of our 65 after-school program participants. We’ll also have a limited number of copies available at our AGM this Thursday.

A second round of printing will take place later this summer, and we're excited to make the colouring book available free to the public. Stay tuned for details on where you can pick up a copy!

A huge thank you to our Program Leader, Sasha, for creating all 15 colouring pages with help from some of our participants, and to our Revenue Development Manager, Alyssa, for bringing the book together.

🌟 CLUB DAY 2026 HIGHLIGHTS 🌟

Last Friday, we celebrated an amazing Club Day here at BGC Charlottetown! 💚 We started the morning with a flag raising at Charlottetown City Hall and in the evening, they lit up in BGC green to help us mark the occasion.

The afternoon was filled with smiles, laughter, and fun: bouncy castles, field games, bubbles, music, face painting, tie-dyeing t-shirts, and a delicious BBQ!

A huge thank you to our incredible community partners who helped make the day so special:
🌭 The Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty & Parkdale Sherwood Lions Club for providing a fantastic hot dog BBQ
🎈 PEI Inflatables for the bouncy castle fun

BGC Charlottetown is excited to share that LePage is celebrating its 150th anniversary by investing in its PEI roots through the restoration of our 66-year-old youth space in Montague!

This project will help us reopen a safe, welcoming space for youth ages 12–18, supporting programs in life skills, physical activity, music, and STEAM. It also creates paid apprenticeship opportunities for Holland College students as part of the renovation work.

We’re grateful for this support and the impact it will have on young people across our communities.

Congratulations, John! You are the lucky recipient of one (1) roundtrip flight for two (2) guests to any regularly scheduled and marketed WestJet destination.

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased tickets, shared our posts, and helped spread the word about this fundraiser. Together, we reached our fundraising goal, and every dollar raised will support our Summer Program Bursary Fund, helping local children and youth access meaningful summer camp experiences.
