May 22nd will be a great event for islanders .
The Charlottetown Food Truck Festival will feature an amazing and delicious variety of cuisines, both global and local: Filipino, Mexican, Caribbean, Classic Pizza, Fried Chicken, Seafood, Soups, Stews, and everything in between.
The Festival, a fund-raiser for the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Royalty’s charitable PEI projects, is happening at the Eastlink Centre Friday and Saturday, May 22 and 23.
There will be 15 food trucks at the Festival, which will also include a large Makers’ Market, a KidZone, live music from Island artists in a licensed atmosphere, and the Canadian Co****le Classic – a co****le tour stop on the ACO Canada co****le circuit.
Are you craving Filipino food? We’ve got you covered with the Sarop Spot food truck from Summerside. The PIE OH MY truck from Morell offers Neapolitan inspired pizzas from handcrafted dough, and also fresh chicken wings and more. Loaf and Ladle features vegan and gluten-free choices, as do many other trucks.
Truro’s Barnyard Grill truck’s menu items are grass fed natural meat products from their farm. Tacos? We have tacos, tacos, and more tacos. Tacos el chino will have a full range of their great Mexican food. and many other trucks feature tacos as well. Jamaican food is the specialty of Jus Nyam food truck, from Summerside. Yum.
