This concert will be on Tuesday, April 7. That's back to back weeks of concerts, if you're interested 😉 We hope you can join us for one (or both!)

We're taking (some of) our show on the road! If you can't make it to our concert on April 14, you can catch some of our repertoire at our shared concert with Montague Regional High School on March 31.

The Holland College Community Band presents Winter Wonder!

Join us for a night of music, warmth and community. We are incredibly excited to share a variety of musical selections under the direction of Christine Blanchard and the newly appointed co-director Tim Doyle.

When: Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 pm

Where: Florence Simmons Performance Hall- 140 Weymouth Street, Charlottetown

A food or cash donation to the Upper Room Food Bank will be gratefully accepted at the door.

Being a part of an ensemble that lifts your spirits, fills your musical bucket, and has your back is the best!!! We, the Holland College Community Band, just spent an incredible weekend honing our ensemble skills, reconnecting with fellow musicians, and deepening our love of performing!!

Thanks to the Second Chances Community Band Program - Nova Scotia for giving the Holland College Welshmen Community Band the opportunity to perform at the HfxBandfest.

This concert will feature pieces centered around the theme of heroism. Selections will include Song of Hope by Peter Meechan, Windjammer by Robert Buckley, and Dam Busters March by Eric Coates.

We are also thrilled to premiering the piece "Anticipation" written by Island composer Evan Hammill.

Please join us on April 30th at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall. Concert begins at 7:30 pm. Monetary and food donations for local food banks will be collected at the door.

We're looking forward to sharing our music with you on Tuesday, November 28 (7:30pm at the Florence Simmons Performance Hall). We will be accepting cash and food donations for local food banks. Frank, Kenny, and our director, Chrissy Blanchard, show off the pile already started by our members before our dress rehearsal. We can't wait to see you there! 🎶🎄❤️

Just wanted to toot our own horn for a sec (ha!) 🎺
The Welshmen band played a great concert “up west” at Westisle Composite High School theatre tonight — a wonderful end to our 2022-2023 season! Thank you to everyone who supports our band, whether by attending our concerts, or promoting them for other people to attend.
See you in the fall! 🎶
