Our Mission

Sistership Dragon Boat Association provides opportunities, through the sport of dragon boating, for people diagnosed with breast cancer to :

• foster wellness
• partner with the community, and
• heighten the profile and importance of breast health

We paddle to:
- Motivate ourselves and each other through group involvement,
- experience a sense of control in our lives,
- enable ou

It went so smoothly with the help team from Calgary Dragon Boat Society ( Layton, Conrad directing us ) and a crew from Dragnum and Ann C as Sistership’s lead & point person. Rose knew exactly what each of our boats needed. There were doughnuts thanks to Mary Ellen and many laughs. We could not have asked for a better day. Thank you to our amazing Sistership team and our operations committee members that came out to help! Many hands made light work. I am so happy and grateful. Can’t wait to get out on the water! Looking forward to a fun and safe 2026 paddling season! Paddles Up! ❤️🐉🚣

Boats are going on the reservoir this weekend! Many hands make light work, please!

It's finally time! We're hauling the boats back to the water this Sunday, May 10th, and we need your muscles... or at least your smiling face! Come out, lend a hand, and let's get this party started! We'll be gathering at 10:30am sharp at the seacan in the first parking lot of Heritage park. Can't wait to see all the familiar faces and some new ones too!
