Our heartfelt congratulations to Colleen Seto, the 2026 Editor of the Year recipient!

Colleen is the kind of editor who is at her best when donning several hats. Once officially on the RedPoint Media & Marketing Solutions team, she began to spread her wings, helping to shape not only the magazines within the growing Content Studio, but also with the company’s flagship editorial magazine, Avenue Magazine — Calgary.

Congratulations to Colleen! https://albertamagazines.com/awards/editor-of-the-year/

We are thrilled to announce that Kim Larson, Creative Director of Odvod Media Corp (Edify Edmonton) is the recipient of the 2026 Achievement in Publishing award!

Kim's career has seen her working with some of Edmonton's and Alberta's most iconic titles. Her artistic point of view was instrumental in the long-running success of Alberta Venture and Alberta Oil magazines. She worked as the art director at those magazines for over a decade, simultaneously adding her magic touch to the esteemed Eighteen Bridges.

The Achievement in Publishing Award is just the latest feather in Larson’s cap. She is a multiple AMPA award winner for her work over the years and is a highly respected figure in Alberta’s magazine industry. Congratulations Kim!

Be part of Canada’s national library and ensure your magazine remains part of the conversation with Legal Deposit and Library and Archives Canada (LAC).

As Canada’s national library and one of the largest in the world, LAC safeguards the country’s published heritage. Make sure you're part of that with the practical tipsheet outlining how to deposit print and digital magazines from LAC.
