As part of our AWCS in the Classroom programming, we offer a course called “Robot-Free Research.” Here’s Kim teaching the program at St. Kateri Tekakwitha School last week.
What we love about these photos is that they capture three different questions, all met with lots of engaged little arms raised, showing the power of curiosity and critical thinking in action.
At AWCS, we believe it’s important to teach young people (and adults, too) the value of engaging their own brains, asking questions, researching thoughtfully, and developing the confidence to think critically and creatively on their own.
Or, as Kim says in her presentation: “Be a dinosaur.”
