Children grow when they are given the opportunity to stay with a system, build on what they have learned, and progress step by step.

We give them years to become fluent readers in school. Qur’an learning deserves that same patience.

Our children also need to know Allah, learn the life of the Prophet ﷺ, understand their deen, and know how to practise it in everyday life.

That is why Islamic Studies is built directly into EQIS — progressing level by level alongside their Qur’an learning.

Abdul Wasay was deeply loved by his family and by those who studied, worked, and served alongside him at Al-Ansaar.

This evening, Al-Ansaar Islamic Centre Westwinds will be open for those wishing to offer Ta‘ziyat to his family and share in remembering our brother Abdul Wasay.

May Allah سبحانه وتعالى forgive him, shower him with His mercy, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and grant his family sabr and strength through this immense loss. Ameen.

Abdul Wasay was a beloved son, brother, friend, student of ‘Alimiyyah, and a khadim who gave his time in the service of Al-Ansaar and the community.

With deep sadness, we share the passing of one of our own, Abdul Wasay, at the young age of 20.

Abdul Wasay was an ‘Alimiyyah student, an employee of Al-Ansaar, and someone who dedicated his time to the khidmat and service of the organization and community.

His loss is deeply felt by the Al-Ansaar family. We ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to forgive him, have mercy upon him, grant him Jannatul Firdaus, and grant his family sabr during this incredibly difficult time.

Please remember Abdul Wasay and his family in your du‘as.

Janazah details will be shared once they are confirmed.

Alhamdulillah, a day of Qur’an, knowledge, recognition and gratitude.

Seeing our students honoured and our graduating Huffaz celebrated was a reminder of what years of dedication can produce.

A heartfelt JazakumAllahu Khayran to all the respected Ulama and Shuyukh who joined us, and especially our Chief Guest, Shaykh-ul-Hadith Mufti Abdur Raheem Ibn Dawood Limbada, for honouring the Jalsa with his presence.

May Allah accept from everyone who made this day possible and place lasting barakah in our students and community.
