Every Wednesday, we serve lunch to the women that come through our doors 🍲

It’s one of the regular times each week when women can drop in, grab a meal, spend some time with our team, and connect with other women in the space.

For many of the women we serve, these regular points of connection are an important part of building trust and staying connected to support.

Richard Mantha was sentenced yesterday to 12 years in prison. We are relieved to see the court impose a significant sentence, and we hope this decision provides a measure of justice and closure for those affected.

The victims we work with have expressed a sense of relief knowing that he will be in custody and unable to reoffend or retaliate against them during this time. After years of navigating the legal process, they are ready to move forward with their lives.

This decision marks an important step toward closure.
We stand with the victims and recognize their strength and resilience throughout this process.
