Our long journey to freedom can sometimes expose us to injustices and life-threatening experiences that continue to affect us even in the safety of Canada. Pre-immigration trauma can have a detrimental impact on our well-being. To address this, the Komkan Africana Institute has launched the Unbowed Warriors program. Initially created to support the lost boys of South Sudan, this program is now open to all Calgarians. We invite you to join our weekly Friday/Saturday sessions.
