Today is the National Day of Mourning for Workers Killed, Injured or Made Ill on the Job. If you can, join other workers at an event in your community today. If you are unable to go to an event, please observe a moment of silence at 11 a.m.

Today, we remember those we have lost and stand together to continue our fight for workplace safety. No one should be forced to risk injury, illness, or death because of going to work.

Read a message from our MoveUP leadership and find a list of events in your community here: https://moveuptogether.ca/the-latest/tuesday-april-28-2026-day-of-mourning/

This World Health Day, we’re reminded that good health starts with access to nutritious food.

Across Canada, too many people are forced to choose between paying bills, medication, rent, and putting food on the table. That choice has real impacts on physical and mental health.

Food banks are more than places to access food. They are spaces of care, dignity, and support — helping individuals and families build healthier futures.

Together, we can work toward a Canada where everyone has the food they need to thrive.
