Every child deserves the chance to just be a kid βοΈ For many children, summer camp means making friends, having fun, and creating lifelong memories. But for families affected by childhood cancer and blood disorders, opportunities like these aren't always accessible. That's why City Camp exists.
As the only medically-supervised day camp of its kind in B.C., City Camp provides a safe, inclusive space where children can laugh, play, and connect with peers who understand their journey. It's a place where kids can simply be kids. And one of those kids is Kennedy. This month, in the lead up to our Summer City Camp, we'll be sharing more about Kennedy, her family's experience navigating childhood cancer, and the impact City Camp has made on all of their lives.
We hope you'll follow along, share these stories with your community, and help us send more kids to camp this summer. π
