Cycling BC is the provincial governing body for the sport of cycling in British Columbia.

Cycling BC is a not-for-profit association registered under the BC Societies Act and affiliated with the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) through our membership in the Canadian Cycling Association (CCA). Our Board of Directors, elected by our members at the Annual General Meeting, provides policy direction to our office staff. Other important volunteers who facilitate the workings of Cycling BC include race organizers, coaches, officials, instructors and committee members.

The 2026 BC Provincial Championships cycling season is shaping up to be so much fun with riders competing for provincial titles or simply enjoying the experience by being in the mix (there are open/non-championship categories too!).

Many of the BC Provincials event registrations are open now, including this weekend's BC Provincial Road Race (Sat, May 30) and Time Trial (Sun, May 31) Championships hosted by -- registration closes soon, so hurry and secure your spot today!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a series of BMX camps with Alex Tougas (2x World Champion and multi-time Canadian Champion) at both Ridge Meadows BMX and Abbotsford BMX Club .

🕓 All camps will run from 4 PM to 6 PM
🚲 Open to riders aged 8 to 18 years
👉 The cost for each session is $45

The focus of the camps will be on skill development and refinement. We hope to see you there!

Cycling BC is grateful to The Trudy and Doug Peden Charitable Foundation for their ongoing support of the award for young female cyclists in pursuing their athletic and academic endeavours. In 2026, the foundation will increase the award to $3,000 per recipient. There will be two intakes for the award in 2026 (one award in the spring and another in the fall). Cycling BC invites aspiring female athletes currently pursuing their post-secondary education to apply for the 2026 awards. Spring application deadline is May 15, 2026.
