💙 Volunteer Facilitators Needed – Langley

Want to help create a space where grandparents and other relatives raising children feel heard, supported, and empowered?

We’re looking for mature, empathetic active listeners to help facilitate our in-person Kinship Caregiver Support Group in Langley.

We’re looking for volunteers who can:
• Create a safe, supportive, trauma-informed space
• Bring strong communication & organizational skills
• Commit to 1 year, 3–5 hours/week
• Participate in our interview and training process

Training is provided online through self-paced learning + 3 live Zoom sessions.

The years between early childhood and adolescence bring significant changes for children and parents. As children become more independent, develop stronger friendships, think more complexly, and form their identities, they still need the security, connection, guidance, and support of their caregivers.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲:
● What children are working on developmentally,
● How their needs change as they grow, and
● How parents can support increasing independence without losing connection.
