🙌 Thank you 🙌

Blackfalds, and Central Alberta, you helped us achieve a new height with our Empty Bowls Fundraising Gala!

With your help we've grown something A-M-A-Z-I-N-G for our community over the past four years!

Together, this year we raised $21,296 to support families experiencing food insecurity and facing other barriers.

Two words do not feel like enough but these two words have incredible strength and meaning. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! ❤️

🥣 2026 Empty Bowls was a SUCCESS 🥣

We're still tallying up the numbers but we wanted to thank all in our community who came out last night and supported our 4th annual Empty Bowls Fundraising Gala!!!

You all made the evening a fun and entertaining night with friends, family, and community!

Thank you again to our sponsors and donors, incredible volunteers, dedicated Board of Directors and of course the hard work of Chris and Karie.

Congratulations to Stantec for their winning Bridges to Building Community Food Art Competition entry. They made a replica of the recently relocated historic Red Deer rail bridge!

Michael with Stantec also surprised us with an additional $1000 Stantec donation! ❤️

We are a relatively small organization with an army of tremendous volunteers and incredible community support. It takes everything we've got to pull off this event and we are grateful for everyone who steps up and shows up to make it the success it has become.

THANK YOU 🙏 🙌 🫶
