🇪🇹 ETHIOPIA | 🇰🇪 KENYA | 🇿🇼 ZIMBABWE

Our hearts are filled with gratitude and anticipation as our Authentic Leadership Network | Equip Leadership Canada team prepares to travel to Africa this November!

God continues to open doors for meaningful relationships, Gospel-centred partnerships, and opportunities to encourage leaders across the nations.

Our November Africa journey will include:
🇪🇹 ETHIOPIA | Ministry Partner Visit
🇰🇪 KENYA | Two Authentic Leadership Seminars
🇿🇼 ZIMBABWE | One Authentic Leadership Seminar

At the heart of every visit, partnership, and seminar is our desire to see people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ, discover the freedom of their identity in Him, and experience the joy of living and leading from His grace rather than their own performance.

We are reminded that God is the One who opens doors, brings His people together, and produces lasting spiritual fruit.

🙏 Please pray with us…

For our ministry partners in Ethiopia, Kenya, and Zimbabwe, for the leaders who will gather, and for our team as we travel.

For meaningful conversations, open hearts, wisdom, unity, health, and safe travels.

Above all, for the Holy Spirit to work powerfully in and through every relationship and gathering. That these opportunities will bear fruit far beyond our time together, as leaders are strengthened by grace, equipped to serve, and encouraged to share the Gospel of Grace with others.

We are thankful for every door God has opened and look forward with anticipation to all He has prepared!

1 Weekend. 1 Life-Changing Message. 22 Lives Touched by God's Grace.

We are so grateful for The Journey, an organization in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, dedicated to helping women overcome addiction and discover hope for a new beginning.

Earlier this year, four staff members from The Journey attended the Authentic Leadership Seminar in Red Deer. And now, the seeds planted in their own lives are being sown into the lives of others! 🌱

Those same 4 women, led other women connected with The Journey, through the Authentic Leadership - Living in Newness of Life curriculum this past weekend!

This is the beauty of multiplication in God's Kingdom. When we receive His grace, we are equipped to extend that same grace to others.

“I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the growth.” 1 Corinthians 3:6 (ESV)

🙏 Please join us in praying for these precious women - that they would continue to grow in their understanding of God's unconditional love, find freedom in their identity in Christ, and experience the fullness of the new life He offers.

All glory to God, who brings the growth!

This past Sunday, October 25th, our dear friend Sylvia Sullard was commissioned by her church, Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church, as a sent missionary in the position of Global Spiritual Formation Director with Authentic Leadership Network.

What a beautiful milestone! After 29 years of faithful service on staff at Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church, Sylvia is stepping into a new season of ministry. We celebrate God's faithfulness throughout these years and are excited to see how He will continue to use her gifts, experience, and calling to encourage spiritual formation within His global family and advance His Kingdom purposes.

🙏 A special thank-you to Marilyn Nasman, US Pacific Representative, for graciously hosting members of our ELC | ALN family, and to Gil Dukeman, Authentic Leadership Network Board Chair, for representing ALN at this meaningful commissioning service.

❤️ Congratulations, Sylvia! We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for your life, your faithful service, and your heart for His people. We look forward with joyful anticipation to all He has prepared for this next chapter!

As you step forward in faith, we pray this beautiful blessing over you:

“The LORD bless you
and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
— Numbers 6:24–26 (NIV)

To God be the glory for what He has done and all that is yet to come! 🙌

In Loving Memory of Valdine Ruth Sissons (September 25, 1955– October 18, 2026) ❤️

With grateful hearts and the hope we have in Christ, Equip Leadership Canada honours the life and spiritual legacy of our beloved Val Sissons.

Val was a woman of deep faith, a passionate prayer warrior, and a faithful encourager of leaders. Through her prayers, generosity, and unwavering commitment to God’s Kingdom, she played a meaningful role in advancing our mission of “Encouraging leaders as Jesus intends.”

We are profoundly grateful for Val’s spiritual influence and her faithful partnership in this ministry.

Please join us in praying for her husband, David Sissons, Vice-Chair of Equip Leadership Canada, and their entire family.

Today, we rejoice that she is in the presence of the Saviour she loved and faithfully served.

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:21

🧡 Happy Thanksgiving to our Canadian friends and family!

As we celebrate Thanksgiving, our hearts are filled with gratitude for God's goodness and His faithfulness.

🧡 We are thankful for the Gospel. For the good news of Jesus Christ and the grace that reminds us our identity is not found in what we accomplish, but in who we are in Him.

🧡We are thankful for God's goodness. As we reflect on this year, we see His faithfulness through every season, every opportunity, every challenge, and every provision. He is the One who sustains us, opens doors, and brings lasting growth.

🧡 We are thankful for our ELC | ALN global family. Every prayer, gift, word of encouragement, partnership, and seminar participant is a reminder of the beautiful ways God brings His people together to serve His purposes. We are grateful for each of you!

Above all, we give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!

May you and your loved ones experience the joy of His presence, the assurance of His love, and the peace that comes from resting in Him.

Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡

“The LORD bless you and keep you;
the LORD make his face shine on you
and be gracious to you;
the LORD turn his face toward you
and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24–26 (NIV)

🇵🇭🌏 I WILL SING OF THE GOODNESS OF GOD!

What a beautiful way to reflect on our most recent Authentic Leadership Seminar in the Philippines! ❤️

25 leaders from the Philippines! Listening to their voices lifted together, we are reminded to pause and give thanks for God's goodness, His unfailing mercy, and His faithfulness through every season.

Different journeys. The same faithful God!

As these leaders return to their respective nations, our prayer is that the truths God has impressed upon their hearts through the Authentic Leadership Seminar will continue to take root, bear fruit, and multiply through their lives. 🌱🌍

“For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." — Psalm 100:5 NIV
