Cape George Heritage School is one of Nova Scotia's original one room school houses. Open July to September as a museum. For bookings call Sue at 902-318-8932.

Available for rentals the rest of the year. Please see our website for genealogical and historical information on Cape George. Step back in time when you enter this 1925 heritage one room school house! Can you imagine all grades being schooled in this one room, with one teacher?! We have artifacts from the early 1900's to give visitors an idea what life on the cape was like, plus lots of pictures too! Also featured are some of the artists found in the area who are offering their pictures, paintings and cards for a reasonable price. This is a great place to check out before hiking on the fabulous area hiking trails, and maybe grab a cold drink or some ice cream! If your going to be in the area, consider renting this great little spot for family get togethers or events.
