Soup season is upon us! We are pleased to be back in the kitchen at the Antigonish Farmers' Market Association for another round of Community Soup Gatherings. We aim to hold them twice a month, not necessarily every two weeks.
We provide a free meal: a bowl of hot soup, usually accompanied by a roll/biscuit and a dessert. Patrons may also take meals away. The rest of the soup is individually portioned and frozen for later distribution in our two community fridges.
We often have produce and other food items to give away.
This is a free event and is for everyone in the community. It is a safe space to meet, eat, share, and build community.

Thank you to the Town of Antigonish and the Municipality of the County of Antigonish for the continued financial support that enables our organizers and volunteers get food and supplies needed to feed the community.
