We are honoured to have Alain Bossé, The Kilted Chef, in our kitchen today. He has our volunteers well organized, and has just given a lesson on the star of today's meal- lobster!

Thanks to local fisherman Shannon Boyd for the donation of lobsters. Thanks to the Antigonish Community Food Bank for all the produce, and to Georgia Chapman for organizing this guest chef experience!

Hot meal service is from 12pm-1pm in the Community Room at the Antigonish Farmers' Market Association building, 20 Exhibition Lane.

Food is a human right.
Everyone is welcome at the table.

A bit of a lobster cracking lesson from The Kilted Chef!

Hi everyone! We're super excited to welcome the well-renowned Kilted Chef (aka Alain Bosse) to cook at the next soup gathering on Sunday, May 17th. Alain is coming all the way from Pictou County! Wow! We have some nice food cooking up for the community. And talk about showing up for volunteer week! Eleven volunteers showed up this morning to chop, sweep and wash. Thank you so much!

Today's menu:
*Turkey Pot Pie
*Pork and Vegetable Soup
*Roasted Caulifower Soup (vegan)
*Orange Rhubarb Coffee Cake
*Brownies
*Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Tony is an amazing chef and an even more amazing volunteer and human being.

And guess what? He is cheffing it up again for us tomorrow! We have lots of great food planned for the community.
