Feeding The Hungry Global Ministries Feeding the Hungry Today the government of Malawi has recognized the school they helped to start as one of the best private schools in all of Malawi.

Pastors and Missionaries to the Poor and the Orphans: Desi and Martha Jakab
have been working in Malawi since July 2000 when they went as volunteers to help set up a school for the orphans. Both Primary and Seconday Schools have been built in a remote area of Malawi. Desi and Martha are so thankful for the very primitive beginnings "When we had to work without electricity the first 3 years, and al

so the only blackboard we had was a very thin piece of plywood painted black and hung on the wall with corn veavals chomping on the sacks of maise in one end of the class-room." In 2005 (seven years ago) God redirected Desi and Martha to go to an area they had never been to. The result of this vision and dream divinely given by God has resulted in a Medical Facility built in an area that never had anything, and helping many orphans and poor widows in both Malawi and also in Mozambique.

I have asked how much money it would take to pay for a school of 850 children and pay for the workers, teachers, textbooks, food, everything.. Here in Canada? Most People have no answer..

We are totally dependant on the Lord, Jesus Christ our King and also feeding up to 3,000 people every month: Including all the children in the Open Door Private School. All with the Loaves and Fishes.. Even as Jesus did: One bag of 50 kilo corn / maise is still 100 Canadian Dollars and has been for the past 3 years. The wages the teachers get, is 100,000 Malawi Kwacha = 100 Canadian Dollars each month. Love and blessings 🙂 We live and operate by Faith, and have to trust the Lord Totally and Completely. We have tried to get the attention of churches in our area but the answer is still a Giant No to James 1:27. "Pure Religion (Pure Christianity) and one that is Undefiled, is to help the Orphans and the Widows in their affliction and to keep yourself unspotted from the World" My wife and I are little people, and operate from our small, humble town house for the past 27 years.
