Did you know that shopping at Pawsitive Thrift directly supports the lifesaving work of Abby Cat Daddy the Feline Advocate Society ?

Every purchase helps generate reliable funding for the rescue, making Pawsitive Thrift one of our main sources of revenue. That revenue helps us say “yes” to more cats and keeps so many of our programs running, including medical care, food and supplies, TNR, spay and neuter support, and the everyday costs of caring for cats waiting for their forever homes.

Our current store hours are:

Wednesday to Friday: 10 AM to 6 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 10 AM to 4 PM
Monday & Tuesday: Closed

📦 Donation drop offs are Wednesdays and Saturdays during store hours.

So whether you're hunting for a bargain, clearing out some gently used treasures, or just stopping by to see what’s new, you're helping make our work possible.

Our thrift store helps support the lifesaving work of Abby Cat Daddy, and we’re currently looking for more volunteers to help keep the store running and growing. 💜

🛍️ Thrift Store Volunteers

Our volunteers help with things like:
✨ Running the till and helping customers
✨ Sorting and pricing donations
✨ Restocking and organizing the sales floor
✨ Keeping the store tidy and welcoming
✨ Helping us turn donated items into support for local cats!

Shifts are just 4 hours, making it a great way to give back without committing your entire day.

Monday & Tuesday: Closed

Volunteer shifts begin approximately 15 minutes before opening, with closing volunteers staying shortly after the store closes.

Update: The store is now open :)

Morning!

Our opening store volunteer sadly woke up not feeling well so the store will not be open this morning.
We are working on finding a volunteer to fill in but we may not be opening today until 2pm (will update this post if we can get someone in earlier).

We apologize for the incovenience.

For those who had appointments with the rescue side of the organization your appointmnets remain unaffected, please message the volunteer you are scheduled to meet when you arrive.

💻 Well... our cashier computer has officially called it quits.

The desktop that runs our POS system at Pawsitive Thrift has decided it no longer wants to participate in running a thrift store. 😅

We have a temporary backup in place for now, but we are looking for a new to us, WiFi enabled desktop computer to keep our checkout running smoothly.

Before we go out and purchase one, we wanted to ask our amazing community:

Does anyone have a working desktop computer they would be willing to donate to Pawsitive Thrift?

It doesn't need to be fancy! We just need something reliable, WiFi capable, and able to handle our POS system and everyday store tasks.

Every dollar we can save on store expenses means more funds can continue supporting the cats and kittens in our care. 🐱

These boys were once in our playroom before moving to PetSmart.
Lets help find them their furrver home!

Billy & Ozzy are officially our longest in care residents, and these sweet brothers have waited long enough for a home to call their own.

Ozzy has been in care for 352 days, while Billy has been waiting for 327 days.

With his handsome black eye patch and incredibly soft fur, Billy is hard not to fall in love with. He is the shyer of the two, but with patience, he has started to open up and discover how much fun toys can be. He often watches from a cozy hiding spot before deciding to join the fun.

Unlike his rockstar namesake, Ozzy is a calm and collected guy who enjoys hanging out with Billy and watching the world around him. He may be timid at first, but given some time and patience, he will happily become your best friend.

Billy and Ozzy are best friends as well as brothers, so they need to be adopted together. They are looking for a quieter home where they can feel safe, settle in at their own pace, and finally enjoy the stability they deserve.

Their adoption is sponsored, giving them an additional $50 discount on top of our bonded pair discount. That means a total savings of $150 on their combined adoption fee!

You can visit Billy and Ozzy at the Chilliwack PetSmart Cat Adoption Centre. An accepted adoption application is required before a meet and greet.

These boys have been waiting for nearly a year. Please help us find the patient, loving home they deserve.
