Our new tea shelf is filled with love and memories featuring teacups that once belonged to Gwendolyn, who cherished teatime during her days at PCCU and Holmberg House hospice.
Thanks to our wonderful volunteer Wayne’s generous donation, Gwendolyn'ss beautiful cups now have a new home on our palliative floor, where patients and families can pause, connect, and share a comforting cup of tea together.

A small tradition, carrying a big heart 🍵✨

Steve Williams lived a life measured by the impact he made - serving others, giving back, and turning his passion for cars into support for the community.
Through his years of service with BC Ambulance as both a paramedic and dispatcher, he was a steady, compassionate presence in people’s most vulnerable moments. Beyond his incredible career, Steve gave tirelessly, volunteering as a beloved Santa and supporting colleagues through the 10-7 Association. Steve raised funds for countless causes. including playing a key role in launching the AHGSS Horsepower for Hospice Car Show.
In his honour, AHGSS has created a “Best in Show” memorial trophy to be awarded at our Horsepower for Hospice event on Aug 16, 2026.
