Who is Rotaract Barbados West? Rotaract Barbados West was sponsored by Rotary Barbados West and our club was officially chartered in March 2014. We are part of the Rotaract global family that empowers students and young professionals to create positive change in their local communities and around the world. Joining Rotaract provides unique opportunities that assist its members in becoming the business and professional leaders of tomorrow; and serves as an ideal stepping stone to joining the ranks of The Rotary Club. What is Rotaract? Rotaract is an international program of Rotary International for young professionals ages 18 to 30 who want to make a difference. Don't worry if you're over 30; this makes it easier to be eligible to join the Rotary Club. There are 163,000 members of some 7,800 Rotaract clubs in 151 countries. Rotaract Clubs conduct meetings, usually every two weeks. Rotaractors use their weekends for service projects, social events and workshops. Rotaractors work hard, but they believe in having a good time. They hold barbecues, limes, hikes, cultural events and more!
