Are you building a prototype for your business? Here is an opportunity that can help.

Applications are now open for the Conecta Caribbean Prototype Grant Competition. For information and to apply go to: https://conecta.bridgeforbillions.org/prototype-grant-competition-conecta-caribbean/

Up to $40,000 USD to develop or test your MVP across the Caribbean.

Research your costs, identify your builders, and apply for exactly what your prototype needs, not a round number.
How it works:
👉 The programme funds up to two external service providers to build your prototype, a developer, designer, researcher, or agency
👉 The programme handles the payments, funds go straight to your service providers, so you can focus on building
👉 You receive six months of coaching, December to May, from a Conecta Caribbean ESO you partner with

Before you apply, check that you are:

👉 Registered in or a citizen of one of the 15 CARIBEquity countries
👉 At pre-MVP or early-MVP stage, a concept or early product, not a fully commercial one
👉 Solving a real challenge for underserved or excluded communities in one of five priority sectors: Agriculture and Natural Capital, Essential Infrastructure Services, Financial Inclusion, Health, and Education, Talent and Employment

One requirement worth flagging now: partnering with a Conecta Caribbean ESO of your choice before you apply is mandatory for this call. Start that conversation early.

Applications close Friday 30 October 2026, 23:59 EST.
