As we count down to this Saturday's Hike for Homeless, we want to take a moment to recognise two incredible organisations whose ongoing support helps make this event possible year after year - Adapt Mentorship and Apex Club of Toowoomba.
A special thank you to Adam from Adapt Mentorship, who has been involved since our very first Hike for Homeless. Every year, Adam not only marshals the track, but takes on the important role of sweeping the track at the end of the event, ensuring everyone gets through safely and no one is left behind. His commitment extends beyond event day, with Adam even walking the course this past weekend to check the track conditions ahead of the hike.
We are also incredibly grateful to the Apex Club of Toowoomba, whose members continually step up to support our community. Their ongoing involvement, generosity, and willingness to volunteer their time have been an important part of the Hike for Homeless journey.
To both Adapt Mentorship and Apex, thank you for your friendship, encouragement, and unwavering support over the years. Community events like this simply wouldn't be possible without volunteers who generously give their time to help others.
We are truly grateful to have you walking alongside us as we raise awareness and funds to support people experiencing homelessness in our community. 🥾🧡
