🌟Furniture (not including upholstery)

🌟Mobile phones and tablets (incl hardware - screens, battery, etc)
🌟Sewing
🌟Sharpening
🌟Small motors - mowers, whipper snippers etc (not kitchen appliances)
🌟Watch batteries and bands

Not available at this stage (may change, we'll keep you posted!):

❌Glue and fabric patching
❌Upholstery
❌Wool mending

If the category you're looking for is not there or is sold out, please don't book your item under a different category 🙏 Most of the categories require volunteers with special skills, and if they're not available, no-one else will be able to help you.

Please take a moment to check the brand and model of your item and enter these details when you book, as this helps us do some research beforehand and save time on the day. Keep an eye out for the follow-up email requesting more information, too!

👨‍🔧 22 repairers and assistants (a new record 🏆)
🙋‍♀️ 7 support crew
👫 38 customers with items to repair
🛠 54 items brought in for repair
👏 43 items repaired or advice given (79.6%)
⏸ 5 items in progress
👎 6 items not fixable or referred to professionals
⚖️ 112.9 kg of items saved from potential landfill
🌫 1062 kg of carbon emissions saved* (equivalent to driving an ICE car 7099 km, or roughly around Australia from Cairns to Broome!**)
😋 Lots of coffees, jaffles and sweet treats consumed

🎉 Huge thanks, as always, to all the volunteers, and to everyone who came along and at least tried to get their things fixed! Also, we really appreciate everyone who made a donation - all funds raised go towards paying for our rent, insurance and consumables.

Have you got a booking for next Saturday? Please take a moment this weekend to take a photo of your item and reply to the "Help Us to Help You" email that you received when you booked. This helps to give our repairers a heads-up, so they can bring the right tools, or maybe do some research before the day.

Please also take a few minutes to ensure your item is clean, as per the post below. Our volunteers will appreciate it 🙏
