Marist College Ashgrove Old Boys' Association

Marist College Ashgrove Old Boys' Association Marist College Ashgrove Oldboys Association was formed with two main objectives.

Marist College Ashgrove Old Boys' Association was formed to facilitate a continuing relationship with the College and former classmates once students complete their education at Marist College Ashgrove. The first is to facilitate a continuing relationship with the College and former classmates once students complete their education at Marist College Ashgrove. This is achieved by coordinating a num

ber of functions throughout the year that all Oldboys are invited to attend. The second objective is to provide a number of boarding bursaries for students who would otherwise be unable to attend the College. While the Oldboys Association is financially responsible for these bursaries, selection is at the discretion of the Headmaster. For more information regarding bursaries, please contact the College Headmaster.

What a fantastic Super Reunion Day!

It was wonderful to see generations of Marist men return to the College to reconnect, share stories, and celebrate the enduring spirit of our community.

A highlight of the day was witnessing our current students continue the proud tradition of excellence, with both the First XV and First XI securing Premiership victories on Saturday.

Congratulations to all players, coaches, support staff and families on these outstanding achievements. Your dedication, teamwork and commitment have been rewarded in the best possible way and have given the entire Marist community much to celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Super Reunion Day such a memorable occasion.

What an incredible afternoon at the 2026 Champagnat Trust Sports Lunch.

With more than 1,200 guests in attendance, the event once again brought together the Marist community, Old Boys and supporters for an afternoon of connection, entertainment and fundraising in support of the Champagnat Trust.

Guests were treated to engaging and insightful conversations from MCs Fletch and Hindy alongside guest speakers Cooper Woods, Phil Waugh and David Boon, alongside special guests Pat Howard, Matthew Hayden AM and Peter Loli. A particular highlight was hearing from Peter Loli, a former Champagnat Trust bursary recipient, whose story powerfully reflected the real and lasting impact of the Trust in supporting students and families experiencing financial hardship.

The Champagnat Trust plays a vital role in ensuring students can access and continue a Marist education regardless of their circumstances, with funds raised directly supporting bursaries and assistance for families in need.

We extend our sincere thanks to our sponsors whose generosity makes this event possible. Our Gold Champion Sponsors: CoStruct Builders, Lead Institute and Trusted Pest Management. Our Silver Superstar Sponsors: Liminal Wall, Amalgamated Group, Merritt Property Group and Gower Production.

Thank you also to our speakers, volunteers, staff, donors and every guest who attended and supported the event. Your contribution ensures the continued strength of this important mission and the opportunities it provides for young people.

Over 400 Old Boys came together at the first part of the Super Reunion Weekend at the Champagnant Trust Sport Lunch. The connection between Old Boys and the College has never been stronger.

A wonderful tradition at the Graduation Ceremony, is the gifting of the Old Boys tie to our youngest and newest Old Boys. Replacing the school tie with the Old Boys tie signifies their transition from school boy to Old Boy.

Old Boys attending the Champagnant Lunch are encouraged to wear their Old Boy tie and show their support for the College. For those not in possession of a tie, these can be purchased here: https://events.humanitix.com/old-boys-ties and picked up at the lunch.

What were our patrons like in the 90s? 👀✨

This throwback featuring Matthew Hayden and John Eales, two legends of Australian sport and our event patrons, captures the incredible calibre of supporters who have helped shape the lunch over the years and build it into the success it is today.
