Congratulations to the 142 junior participants today including 7 who achieved a milestone, 33 who achieved a new PB and we welcomed 11 first timers. Huge thanks to our 22 wonderful volunteers including first time volunteers to Des Connor Junior Addison, Anita and Matthew Swigon
Also congratulations to volunteer milestone adults who kept their milestones quiet, Andre Swigon and Lawrence Muir who completed their 25th and Gabrielle Burton who completed her 50th
We observed 7 x 10 milestone Tshirts and 1 x 100 milestone shirt and the photo depicts one youngster proudly wearing his 10 milestone Tshirt.

Today we had 31 volunteers at Des Connor Park junior parkrun helping run the event. They are all special people each and every week.

Two extra special young ladies, Jemima & Mia from Brisbane Girls Grammar School finished their Year 10 Community Service Placement where they have helped our event for the past 15 weeks.

Thank you Jemima & Mia. All the best with your studies and it is great you are going to get into running now.

Your card you gave to us is a delight.
