West Winds Concert Band is a community concert band based in the Western suburbs of Brisbane. New members are always welcome.

The West Winds Concert Band together with the Kate Street Big Band make up the BrizWest Community Music Ensembles Inc. West Winds, formerly the BrizWest Concert Band, began life as an adult learners' band in Toowong in late 1997 and we're still going strong today! Our players have a wide variety of backgrounds and musical experience ranging from professionals to happy amateurs of all ages. Our repertoire includes arrangements of popular movie themes, musicals, classic marches, classical favourites, jazz standards and familiar pop tunes. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings in Bardon with public performances several times a year.
