Gawler Eagles FC refuses the poison chalice

A short while ago Gawler Eagles FC decided to switch focus from the construction of a synthetic pitch to new changerooms. We weren't 100% convinced about synthetic. It's very expensive, hot and hard on knees and feet, and is environmentally unfriendly. Get a load of this: Mitchellton Football Club in QLD had its new synthetic pitch hit by floods. This would make playing very interesting. It cost $2.7M to fix!

Our changerooms have gone out to tender and we look forward to seeing them pop up in 2024.
