Big milestones and a bright future ahead for Walcott Ware! 🚗🎉

With support from AES’ Drive to Thrive program and mentor Dempsey Donovan, Walcott completed his driving hours and earned his P1 licence, opening the door to greater independence.

He’s also completed his Certificate II in Supply Chain Operations ahead of schedule through AES Group Training with host employer Crystalite Design Pty Ltd. Now, he’s taking the next step with a Certificate III traineeship.

Congratulations, Walcott! Your hard work and determination are inspiring. We can’t wait to see what you achieve next! 🌟

Charlotte is a star! And the winner of the 2026 First Nations Trainee of the Year! We’re so proud of you Aunty Charlotte and the phenomenal job you do supporting our little ones. Aboriginal Early Childhood Educators play such an important role in supporting the development and learning of children in partnership with their families. Charlotte is a wonderful example of the highest quality care and support.

October is Indigenous Business Month, and this year’s theme is Local and Connected.

AES Managing Director, Kristy Masella, said Aboriginal business has always been about more than business.

“For me, Aboriginal business is about people, jobs, families, culture and community. It’s about creating opportunities that stay in our communities long after the first dollar is spent.” she said.

For more than 30 years, that’s what we’ve built at the Aboriginal Employment Strategy. AES is a business, but we’re also part of the social and economic infrastructure of the communities where we work.
