Members meet weekly every Tuesday night from 7pm onward at the Merrivale Drive Club Rooms. Visitors most welcome. We are 100m west of Warrnambool Railway Station

A committee of people administer the club on behalf of its members including a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Proprietor Officer and Exhibition Co-ordinator. Wednesday nights are set aside for maintenance and construction on both the club's layouts and the club rooms. There are many activities that members can get involved in whatever their interest in modelling from the wood wor

king and electronics involved in layout construction, to the finishing touches including kit building and producing scenery for a layout. There are also opportunities in organising field trips to expos, museums and hobby shops to fundraising and assisting in the running of the club own exhibition. Currently the club has members who model Victorian, Australian, American, European and British prototypes. They
model in scales from N to O and from G to 7 1/4" and in narrow, standard and broad gauges. The Clubrooms house the clubs large main HO scale layout filling one room. In other smaller room a small HO scale shunting layout can be found and the beginnings of a portable exhibition layout in HO scale ran on DCC. There is also a N scale layout that is currently getting rebuilt. The club hopes to get a test track facility up and running for members and visitors use to include several of gauges.

🚂 Another Successful Open Night! 🚂

Another fantastic Open Night at the Warrnambool Model Railway Club, with members and visitors coming together to enjoy an evening of model trains and good company.

It was especially great to see some of our new junior members running their own trains on the club layout and enjoying everything the hobby has to offer.

Welcoming younger members and helping them develop an interest in model railways is an important part of keeping this wonderful hobby going for future generations.

A big thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it another successful night.

More great progress was made today on the Warrnambool Model Railway Club’s new **U-Drive layout**!

Track and grass have now been installed on the first half of the layout, bringing this exciting project another step closer to completion.

Once finished, the layout will give our younger railfans the opportunity to take control and enjoy operating the trains themselves. 🚂

🚂 New Layout Underway! 🚂

Warrnambool Model Railway Club members came together today to begin construction of an exciting new layout for the club.

A big thank you to Ponting Mitre 10 for generously supplying the materials needed for this project. Your support is greatly appreciated and is helping bring our new layout to life.

We look forward to sharing more progress as the build continues!

🚂 Another Great Open Night at the Warrnambool Model Railway Club! 🚂

We had a fantastic variety of trains running tonight, ranging from classic Australian locomotives and rolling stock through to English trains.

One of the highlights of the evening was seeing one of our young visitors successfully get an old Lima locomotive up and running after it had been sitting in its box for many years!

It was wonderful to see visitors of all ages enjoying the layouts and having fun with model trains.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make it another enjoyable Open Night!

Our fellow model railroaders are hosting their annual model railway exhibition this weekend!

The Grampian Model Railroaders are proud to present the 26th Annual Model Railway Exhibition in Stawell.
