A welcome site visit…

This week I caught up with the team from STOP Pt Lonsdale Queenscliff Overdevelopment . We had a great discussion about the concerns our community has over the possibility of a Coles being constructed on this site. It is abundantly clear that the community does not want this to go forward. I am committed to working with the community, the Council and relevant authorities to STOP the overdevelopment of our community.

we appreciate our local members’s genuine committment to the protection of the Bellarine and trust this signals there will not be a Coles or any other inappropriate development adjacent to Swan Bay…

Point Lonsdale can be wild and beautiful at the same time.

We're investing in Lonnie, on various projects:

An update for the community, regarding the extension of Bellarine Peninsula Ramsar sites.

The State Minister for Water has confirmed that all documentation from DEECA (Victoria's Dept of Energy, Environment and Climate Action) has been finalised and provided to the Federal Department. This initiates the formal approval process by the Federal Minister.

I know the community is very passionate about protecting our wetlands and ensuring it is protected for generations to come.
