Fort Queenscliff Museum Fort Queenscliff is one of Victoria's most important heritage sites and one of the largest and best preserved forts in the country.

Today visitors are encouraged to look upon Fort Queenscliff as a part of the national heritage which belongs to all Australians. Accordingly, the Fort Queenscliff Museum has sought to create an environment that evokes public interest and reminds visitors of our early military history.

Even if you're not a die-hard sports fan, this interactive museum inside GMHBA Stadium is packed with sporting memorabilia, fun challenges, a commentator booth, quiz wall and exhibitions celebrating Geelong's rich sporting history.

5. Murray Street Market
Spend a few hours browsing this vibrant indoor market, home to a fantastic mix of local makers, vintage treasures, handmade gifts, homewares and delicious food. It's the perfect place to support small businesses and uncover a few hidden gems!

There's also Australian Orphanage Museum which is only open during the week, but worth adding to your list! It's one of Australia's most unique museums, sharing the powerful stories of children who grew up in orphanages, children's homes and foster care through fascinating artefacts and personal histories.
