Have you heard about some (or many) of the groups we have available now⁉️
Well... The French Group was launched at Harmony Day.
Then... a Dutch Group started. They meet again on Tuesday June 2
at 10am.

YOU ARE WELCOME to come along on the FIRST Tuesday to the Friendly Cuppa & Chat Group to meet us and learn more about ALL we do and offer.

You may have checked your letterbox already... The JUNE Messenger is out and being delivered at the moment. 😁

However, there may be a delay with a shortage of VOLUNTEERS on holidays (probably in rainy ol'Queensland or Ballina)‼️

So if you feel like you and/or a friend would like to deliver a few PLEASE call in during the week or give us a call 52531960 to share the very interesting stories, updates and the many events coming up in June to warm your heart ❤️ all around YOUR Neighbourhood Centre.

🖤 On National Sorry Day we honour the strength and resilience of survivors and families of the Stolen Generations, and the harm that past government policies have caused.

It has been 28 years since the Bringing them home report was delivered in reponse to this traumatic era, and only 6% of recommendations from this report have been implemented.

Thank You to ALL our Volunteers this week.

Here's a little more about how wonderful our Volunteers are and we couldn't do most of what we do without them!

A recent report created by Neighbourhood Houses Victoria, based on data from SpringDale's activities in 2025, showed that our income of just over $500,000 gave our community over $4 millon dollars of value and of that $4 million more than $1 million was volunteer hours - amazing.

The whole report will be uploaded to our website later today, just in case you want to have a look - we'll put it at the top of What's New tab.

❤️SpringDale relies on volunteers to deliver so many of our services, activities and support. 🎈🎉

We have a group of volunteers who deliver the SpringDale Messenger to help get our news, updates and the community's messages out.

Some of our amazing volunteers write articles for the SpringDale Messenger to help to make it interesting and worth delivering. 😉

We have volunteers who lead all our groups! Many spend hours each week to help make the lives of their group so much better, interesting and something to look forward to. 😎

Volunteers spend time here helping out with our catering events … we've had a few of those lately. 🍕🍔🍰

Our volunteers keep our garden areas neat and welcoming 😍

Some people volunteer in our office! They answer your questions and book you into classes and activities. 😉
