On Sunday 21st June, we warmly invite you to join us in a community picnic to remember those we have loved and lost.
In its' seventh year, the picnic is a casual gathering with an inclusive non-denominational ceremony of remembrance.
Sharing a meal is the centrepiece of this celebration and we invite people attending to bring a plate of food that is sacred to them - "sacred food" for a communal table that supports the sharing of stories and memories.
People of all ages are encouraged to attend with special arts and craft activities by Tenders' Sewing Circle and performances by the Tender Community Choir.
The weather is usually cold, so dress warmly, wear comfy shoes and bring a picnic blanket or fold up chair if you need one. ๐Ÿƒ

A record breaking round of Culturebank applications

We received forty-three applications from all kinds of wonderful art forms and creative practices. Weโ€™d love to continue this momentum and fund even more in the next round!

How you can help
Crowdfunding is very much a word-of-mouth undertaking. You can help us find more members and increase the amount we can give away and fund even more great projects, you can:
1. Promote what Culture Bank funds โ€“ head to our social media and share the great projects youโ€™ve funded this round
2. Tell your friends about Culture Bank โ€“ encourage your friends to become a member, so they too can share the fun of funding local creativity
3. Increase your membership โ€“ every individual helps fill the funding pool. You can give as little or as much as you would like as a tax-deductible donation
4. Attend creativity in action โ€“ follow each recipient on social media for updates about their projects and attend classes, screenings, events and more!

Thank you so much for being a part of making Culture Bank Wollongong a success.
